Computable and The Datalog support Dutch Applied AI Award

Just like the past three years, in 2023 the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA), in cooperation with ict trade title Computable and podcast De Dataloog, will search for the best innovations in the field of artificial intelligence (ai). The very best ai innovation will eventually win the Dutch Applied AI Award 2023. It is possible to submit cases from now until July 9. The HvA will determine the nominations, after which a professional jury will designate the winner based on pitches in De Dataloog. The announcement will take place during the Computable Awards 2023 on October 30.

Entries for the Dutch Applied AI Award 2023 must be described using three criteria: applicability, uniqueness and responsibility. Applicability (applied ai) refers to the extent to which the solution has been implemented, it is used by the intended target group and how large the number of (potential) customers or persons is that are directly or indirectly helped by this innovation. Uniqueness is about to what extent the innovation is the only one of its kind, it has never been marketed before, and the goal of the innovation cannot be achieved any other way. Responsible ai is all about things like transparency, privacy and fairness.
