Oracle is opening a Race Data Experience Centre in its Utrecht office. The title sponsor of current world champion F1 team Oracle Red Bull Racing will introduce users to analytics, artificial intelligence (ai) and cloud technology-based winning race strategies behind the wheel of a real race simulator.
The goal of the racing simulator is to demonstrate how data analytics helps adapt and improve behavior and decision-making, including in a business setting. At the same time, Oracle wants to playfully demonstrate the power and unparalleled capabilities of modern technologies such as ai, machine learning and the cloud.
At the Utrecht experience center, Oracle customers and partners, as well as other companies and entrepreneurs, schools and universities, can gain a better understanding of how Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is used to improve prediction accuracy and sharpen decision-making. In the form of a workshop, they can then run their own analysis after a sim race on the Zandvoort circuit, for example.
