Trendwatcher Lieke Lamb has been named the new director of The Dutch Chapter at Women in Tech. With this organization, the 49-year-old Lamb aims to be a partner and a challenger for parties in politics, business and education in the coming years. "We want to inspire them when it comes to women's participation and more diversity and inclusion in general," Lamb said.
As one of the founders, Lamb has been involved with Women in Tech NL from the beginning, where she served on the advisory board at the time. The global community has more than two hundred members, 45 chapters in as many countries and a headquarters in Paris. Its main mission is to promote equality and diversity in fields such as science, technology and the arts.
As director, she succeeds Dr. Cara Antoine, who led the Dutch department as of December 2019 and now takes over Lamb's place on the advisory board.
Lamb often serves as day chair, keynote speaker and expert in areas such as technology, innovation and digitization, leadership, change management, diversity and inclusiveness.
