Private equity firm Main Capital Partners is going to invest in students to reduce the shortage of software developers. If you follow the HBO-ICT program at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and apply yourself to the Software Engineering component, you have a chance to win an additional scholarship.
Main provides three scholarships annually to talented and motivated Software Engineering students from The Hague who, due to personal circumstances, face additional barriers in completing their studies. The scholarship is intended to make it easier and faster for them to obtain their degree.
Per student, Main's additional scholarship amounts to a maximum of twelve thousand euros per year, from the second year of college until graduation. In addition, the student receives a permanent mentor, an it professional working at one of Main's three selected software companies. The investor calls the initiative Main Social Institute.
