National Growth Fund provides 7.1 million euro grant to reduce shortage of IT professionals with knowledge of security in South Holland's SMEs.
This will allow the IT Verband Zuid-Holland partnership to implement a seventeen million euro program over the next four years. The money will be spent on education and training programs, research and development projects and cooperation between SMEs and educational institutions.
Partners are WE-IT (leader and program management of The Hague University of Applied Sciences), IT Campus Rotterdam, Security Delta (HSD) and The Dutch Innovation Factory. The contribution is part of the Green and Digital Jobs Action Plan, with which the government wants to address the personnel shortage in technology and ict.
