Turn in old clothes during NOT!
Clothing and green schoolyards can reinforce each other
Circular Garden, idverdeNL and Texned joined forces a year ago to make it possible for schools to green their schoolyards without having to pay for it! How does it work? Schools collect textile and in return receive a credit that can be used for the greening of the schoolyard by idverdeNL. By means of a green menu the school can choose where to spend the credit. Meanwhile, more than 40 schools in South Holland benefit from this initiative and also the roll-out to the province of Zeeland and Utrecht is a fact; a successful start!
Joining forces
Through the unique combination of textile collection and greening, we are contributing to a sustainable solution to multiple societal challenges. For example, the project increases the reuse of clothing, reduces waste streams and contributes to the creation of a 100% circular textile chain. Because schools can save for greening a schoolyard, we are also working towards a greener and healthier school environment, where children can move, play and concentrate more.
Bring old clothes to the NOT!
During the Nationale Onderwijstentoonstelling (NOT) from January 24 to 28, 2023 there will be some containers at a sustainability square in hall 3, at the end of the education boulevard. In these containers we will collect old clothes during the exhibition period and among everyone who submits something, we will raffle a nice, fitting gift after the exhibition period. So book your free ticket for the NOT now via the following link (NOT 2023 (jaarbeurs.nl) and call on as many colleagues as possible to bring old clothes and hand them in in one of the containers!
You will find idverde Nederland B.V. at booth 03.B051.
